I turned my games graphics down to the lowest possible settings and have removed Loss's Star Base mod with absolutely no luck. I tried redownloading te mod a few times,when i click on the large adress ware my options are extract all or run.ive gone down every route i can think of but If you are hitting the 20 minute mark you should at least have that save of the game. I did try running the normal .exe but it doesnt work. Now this could be an issue with my ram capabilities. It does fit the OP's problem (no notifications or minidump files) more closely.It does not fit my problem. It would be great if you could get a manual save within a few minutes of the crash but as it seems somewhat random that can certainly be difficult.
