My 160gig WD hdd which has just missed it's warranty period has developed bad sectors within the first 13gigs of the drive. Is there any utility to reset the S.M.A.R.T. go to run/search type cmd chkdsk /r from the command console if that works leave it alone and everything should be fine if not try chkdsk /f if none work you Getting 132 errors during gameplay at least a few times a day, and I have no idea what is causing the issues. I am not talking about Windows accounts here, I refer to passwords stored in the firmware of the hard disk. Once that exceeds it's capacity the drive will cease reponding.
