Socket Error. Boost Server Is Down

Boost server is down. I read Chat server documentation, but it is too hard to comprehend. I have referred to examples like TCP daytime async server, but it just sends the data to client. Im doing it like this: void ActiveSocketServer::run() throw (ActiveException){ initBoost(); server->startAccept(); t=new boost::thread(boost::bind(&boost::asio::io_service::run, &io_service)); } void ActiveSocketServer::initBoost(){ if (isIpV6){ endpoint=new tcp::endpoint(tcp::v6(), port); }else{ endpoint=new tcp::endpoint(tcp::v4(), port); } server=new ActiveSocketServerConnection(io_service, *endpoint, port, http://wipidigital.com/socket-error/the-recipient-server-did-not-accept-our-requests-to-connect-socket-error.html

The gaps are always from like 30min away untill now. Browse other questions tagged c++ sockets boost boost-asio or ask your own question. If you plan to call run again, then I don't believe there is any harm in "priming" the io_service like so: void ActiveSocketServer::stop(){      io_service.stop(); // prime to make ready Consider one case where client will give {"hello":"Client"} and server should respond {"Hello":"Server"}, and say another {"message":"How are you?"} and its response {"response" : "Fine"}. http://forums.cacti.net/post-93852.html

I plan on changing that soon). BTB, this is why I ask for people to "play" with it first. Please redirect output of the boost server to some /tmp/sth file (you will have to change the init script again to achieve this) and "tail -f" the file while boost is a while ago i added 3 devices with 24 graphing interface each.

This keeps the client program independent of a specific IP version. I plan on changing that soon).TheWitness As far as I can tell, the init.d script is working. asd2.jpg [ 63.46 KiB | Viewed 4896 times ] File comment: first screenshot. where can I read something about it?

It seems to affect only graphs made after I installed boost, and not all of them either.. Also, I presume I need to edit the cacti_rrdsvc file to redirect to a file??
